Igbo leader in Zamfara lauds police for arresting suspected killers of FMC Gusau consultant
The Eze Igbo in Zamfara State, Chief Egbuna Obijiaku, has commended the police command in the state for arresting the suspected killers of Dr. Enoch Okpara, a consultant obstetric/gynecologist with the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau.

Obijiaku commended the police on Monday in Gusau.
“On behalf of the entire Igbo community in Zamfara State, we appreciate the efforts made by the police, especially the way one of the suspected killers of the deceased was arrested,” the Eze said.
The Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Usman Nagogo, earlier in the day, announced the arrest of the suspects at a press conference in Gusau.
The Eze said that the Igbo community in state werr committed to supporting govenment policies and programmes as well as the security agencies, in an effort to restore peace and stability in the state.
He urged the Igbo community to continue to remain law-abiding.
Okpara was killed on June 12 by unknown criminals at his residence in Mareri area of Gusau
