“Ibori, next to God politically”

Basking in the euphoria of the release of his political benefactor from incarceration, Senator Ighoyota Amori, has described Chief James Ibori, former governor of Delta State, as a man next to God politically; he said that the generosity of former Delta State’s brought him closer to the people.

Politically after God James Ibori is next. You don’t need to be told. Here is a man who ruled this state for eight years and, since he left office, he has been incarcerated. He been in Kaduna and Dubai prisons and in United Kingdom and now he is released. His good deeds have overwhelmed his mistakes”.
According to Amori, “I worked with Ibori closely, so l knew him. He was born in Mosoga, where his mother hailed from. He is somebody i respect very well. His generosity alone is amazing. You will love to work with him.
The generosity that the people have lost is what they want to regain by welcoming him with ovations.” He vowed that no Urhobo man in PDP will contest the governorship election with Senator Okowa in 2019, saying that, “we know and accepted that as long as PDP is concerned, Okowa will complete eight years in office”.
