IBB returns, sues for peace amongst Nigerians

Former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida returned to the country at the weekend after a three-month medical vacation abroad.

He was received on arrival by former Head of State, General AbdulSalami Abubakar, his son Muhammad Babangida and other family members along with his friends and staff.

General Babangida arrived fully invigorated. He thanked Nigerians for their prayers and urged them to always be advocates of peace in the country.

“I commend all Nigerians for their orderliness and peaceful conducts during the elections. I urge all Nigerians to always be the vanguard of peace for the development of the country through democratic processes,” he said.
