I won’t let you down, Obiano tells Anambra, takes oath of office

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State last Saturday in Awka, the State capital promised the people of the State that the huge confidence reposed on him during the last Governorship election will not be in vain.

Speaking during his swearing in ceremony, Obiano recalled the achievements he made in the last four years in the area of security, road construction, prompt payment of salary among others.

He said the State was on the journey for another remarkable achievement, promising ” I will never let you down”.

He said ” And I am here! Never before has our State witnessed the electoral history that you created on November 18, 2017. And today, I stand on the crest of your love to declare a new season of excellence for our beloved Anambra State’.

He however reminded the people of Anambra State the need for sacrifice, saying that the achievements recorded in the State was due to the achievements of our heroes past.

The swearing was graced by Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, Senator Chris Ngige, representing the Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Senator Victor Umeh, Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo, People’s Progressives Alliance (PPA), Governorship candidate among many other prominent personalities.
