I hope to become car collector, reveals real estate mogul Femi Aguda

The CEO of Chicago-based Block 22 Realty LLC, Aguda Olufemi Michael, has offered nuggets of wisdom to new and up-and-coming real estate investors.

According to him: “Nowadays, there are more cash sales than loan-funded purchases.”

Noting that rising interest rates affect the cost of getting a loan to buy real estate, he said: “Therefore, don’t let anyone deceive you that the real estate business is a quick-fix for your money needs.

It is a business that requires patience and dedication before you start getting your Return on Investment.”

Speaking on the importance of diversifying one’s stream of income, Femi Aguda, as he is popularly called, shared his experience thus: “In my early years in America, I used my downtime to work as a Delivery Driver for Amazon Flex and Uber Eat as I needed to fund my daily living and business expenses. Now, I invest in cryptocurrency.”

On how he balances his work with family demands, the alumnus of the Federal University of Technology Akure stated: “As much as work is important to me, I value my family very much, and as such, I create time for my family.

For instance, I make it a point of duty to drop and pick up my kids every day from school.

I believe whatever is important to us we will always find the time.”

Femi Aguda also clarified his obvious love for cars, a penchant that is stated explicitly on his Instagram bio.

“I love luxury and fast cars. I have always loved cars. When I was younger, I could tell which car was pulling up just by seeing the headlights in darkness.”

He added: “One of the ways I relax is by taking a long drive with music playing. I hope to be a luxury, super and hypercar collector someday.”
