I can’t loot Adamawa treasury, says Gov. Bindow
Adamawa State Governor, Senator Mohammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, said God has assured people of the state that he would not loot the state treasury, saying God that brought him into power has a critical role for him in the state.
Governor Bindow said this when all the First Class chiefs in the state visited him at the State House to durng their Sallah homage.
The governor revealed that his efforts to network the state with roads was resulting in cruel enmities by some elites in the state.

Said he, “Some people God gave them the opportunity to work for the state but they did not work. As for me, I am working it becomes a problem.
“I can nott fail God and the people that voted for me, I must work, Adamawa money is not meant to be faring to some few individuals.
“Let me tell you people the truth, I am not fighting any body and anybody that is fighting me is fighting God because I’m choosing by God to govern the state and any Power that is not from God is nothing but vanity.
“I don’t join issues with people, joining issues with me because I’m working for the common people who God said I should work for them you bringing trouble to yourself. He said
According to the governor, some people only know how to play politics of religion, tribe and sectional in the state, adjudging that those doing that are “419ners meant to politically defraud people. ”
“I only want you to play your part by supporting me in living in peace with everyone, giving me constructive advise that can move the state forward.
In his earlier submission the Hamman Bachama,Hummon Honest Irmiya appreciate Bindow beautifying the state with roads, paying salaries as at when due despite economy recess.
He called on him to ware off all problem that meddled the peace of Farmers and Fulani herdsmen that led to the killings of so many people in his kingdom.
