Henry Onyekuru, Moses Simon, Ola Aina, others lead Super Eagles to Asaba

The early arrivals to the Super Eagles training camp at Elomaz Hotel in Asaba yesterday include Henry Onyekuru, Ola Aina and Moses Simon.
The others Mikel Agu, Olamilekan Adeleye, Jamilu Collins and goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai, who was first called up in 2015, when interestingly the Eagles were due to also face South Africa and Uganda.
More players are expected to join up later today.
Officials have already informed newsmen that the team will train tomorrow and that will be open to the public, while the other trainings will be behind closed doors.
The squad are due to fly out to Johannesburg on a chartered flight.
The AFCON qualifier against South Africa will be played on November 17 and three days later, the Eagles will host Uganda in a friendly in Asaba.
Also Kenneth Omeruo, Bryan Idowu and Samuel Chukwueze have been confirmed to hit the Super Eagles camp in Asaba on Tuesday ahead of this Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
Omeruo made the disclosue through a message he posted on his instagram page n Monday morning after bumping into Idowu and Chukwueze at the Frankfurt Airport. Both Omeruo and Chukwueze play in Spain with Leganes and Villarreal.

It will be Chukwueze’s first call-up to the Eagles camp and a perfect way to start after scoring his first LaLiga goal for Villarreal in their 2-2 away draw at Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night.
On the other handn, Omeruo was in action for on-loan club Leganes in their 0-0 draw with Girona on Saturday, while Idowu was not listed in Locomotiv Moscow’s 0-0 away draw against Rubin Kazan on Sunday in Russia top flight league.

Rohr has called up 23-players for the encounter scheduled for the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
Nigeria leads Group E with nine points, and are followed by South Africa who have eight points. Libya is third with four points, while fourth placed, Seychelles have one point.
