Hassan’s double lifts Danish champions
Nigerian midfielder Rilwan Hassan was the hero of his Danish top flight team FC Midtjylland as he netted a brace in a 2-0 win at Esbjerg on Monday.
The Danish champions are third on the league with 42 points from 25 games.
Hassan opened scoring on the half hour mark and completed a brace in the 90th minute.
The 25-year-old midfielder has now scored four goals this season.
Paul Onuachu was a 67th minute substitute for Pione Sisto.
