Gunmen abducts business man in Alieru

There was disquiet at Alieru town the headquarters of Alieru Local Government Area of Kebbi state when some unknown gunmen reportedly abducted one Mustapha Asufab during morning prayers. Mustapha is a famous handset dealer in Alieru and also owns shop where electrical appliances are being sold. During the operation one Imamu Haruna who dragged with them was shot by one of the gunmen but is being treated at the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi and is responding to treatment. Available information revealed that the abductors are yet to name ransom. However, DSP Danjuma, the Police Public Relations Officer said the matter is yet to be reported to the police as at the time of filing this report. Haruna Aliyu Usman, Birnin Kebbi
