Gov. Yuguda Loses Mum

Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State on Wednesday night lost his mother, Hajiya Hauwa Yuguda, popularly known as Goggo.

She died at age 95.

She died after prolonged illness and is survived by the Governor, his younger brother Abdullahi Dabo district Head of Yuguda and many grandchildren.

Immediately after the funeral Prayer led by the deputy Chief Imam of the Bauchi Central Mosque, Imam Ahmed Inuwa Jahun, Late Goggo was laid to rest at the new Bauchi graveyard at Dungulbi Village along Bauchi-Gombe road in accordance with Islamic rites

In his condolence message, the State Governor-elect, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar pray to Allah to repose her soul and explained that she died at the time they needed her motherly advice to move the state forward.

However, Governor Yuguda described the death of his mother as a great lost to the entire family members, saying she was caring and accommodating.
