Globacom ‘Professor Johnbull’ drama series debut on TV

Since its debut on television screens across the country on Tuesday, July, 19, Globacom sponsored new TV comedy drama series titled ‘Professor Johnbull’ has recorded positive remarks from its viewer’s since its debut.

While some praised the roller-cast choice, others are of the opinion that the comedy series is different from others as every distinctive message passed can be related to from the comic point of view.

Professor Johnbull featured talented actors that includes Kanayo O. Kanayo, D’banj, Flavour, Mercy Johnson-Okogie, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Ime Bishop Okon, Queen Nwokoye, Junior Pope, Funky Mallam, Bimbo Akintola, Bidemi Kosoko, Chiwetalu Agu, O.C. Ukeje, Bovi, Mama G, Helen Paul and many others.

The opening montage summarises each character featuring in the sitcom in one word as Professor Johnbull who relishes expressing himself grandiloquently, flips through the pages of one of the piles of books on his coffee table. He describes the characters in the social satire in highfalutin words such as sedulous, gratuitous and philanderer while he simply sees himself as erudite.
