Glitz glamour as Tony Elumelu award staffs
It was a night of glamour and electrifying excitement as wealthy businessmen, corporate titans, medial mogus, entertainment luminaries and banking whiz kids from Nigeria and other parts of Africa gathered for the 2018 edition of the United Bank for Africa CEO Awards.
The event held at the Eko Hotels and Suits in Lagos, Nigeria was the talk of town as staff clients and friends of the leading pan African financial services group let down their hair and got totally soaked in the self celebrations of the special evening.
Tony Elumelu billionaire entrepreneur and chairman of the bank, who was at the event with his lovely wife Dr. Awele said the bank chose the day to reward staff who had worked hard to ensure that the company remains a leading financial institution on the continent.
With this year s theme, “ Celebrating Africa’ the UBA CEO Awards remains one of the most sought -after annual events in the Lagos entertainment calendar. Started in 2008 and in its 10th year , the award keeping getting bigger and better.
There were great performances by top artistes including Olamide,Flavour, Kiss Daniels, Styl Plus and Faiz the bad guy. While rib-cracking jokes from star comedian Basket mouth enlivened the staff and guests alike through the night.
