Giwa, others face NFF disciplinary committee

The congress of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) rose from their sitting in Abuja on Wednesday to resolve that Chris Giwa and his loyalists will face the disciplinary committee for taking football matters to court.
Observers believe that Giwa and his lieutenants are likely to be slammed long-term bans.
The congress also reversed a decision they took in December which excluded other stakeholders from vying for elective offices unless they have previously been on the NFF executive committee or congress or are currently occupying such positions.
Giwa has argued he was forced to return to court after the controversial decision at the Annual General Assembly on December 16, 2015.
