GHANA PRESIDENT-ELECT VISITS PRES. BUHARI, SEEKS COLLABORATION

President Muhammadu Buhari has held a closed door meeting with the President-Elect of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja. Speaking after the meeting, the president-elect says a closer collaboration among African leaders is required to further the development of the continent. The President-Elect being driven into the forecourt of President Buhari’s office.

He then proceeds to meet with President Buhari. After close to an hour deliberations, the President-Elect tell journalists that he is in the Villa to discuss issues that will advance ongoing development among ECOWAS member states and Africa as a whole.

Akufo-addo, a seventh-three year old opposition leader who defeated President John Mahama is billed to take his oath office in January 2017 as the president of Ghana.
