A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Adamawa state, Alhaji Ahmed Lawan, says that Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila will better manage the office of the speaker, House of representatives.
Lawal an organizing secretary of APC in the state said experience counts, adding that “the speakership office of the green chamber is not a small office.
We are talking about the number four person in the leadership hierarchy of this country. You will agree with me that is beyond an ordinary member who is there for the first time.
“We need quite intelligent and hardworking people who will support President Muhammadu Buhari deliver on the mandate of the masses.
Femi is one of the most articulated lawmaker, one among a few that have high number of laws, bills and motions to their names. I think Nigerians should contemplate calling their elected members to vote for him.”
He appealed to new and old lawmakers to unite their votes for Femi because it will serve the entire interest of the nation.
Reminded that the member representing Toungo, Ganye, Jada and Mayo-Belwa Federal Constituency, Rep. Abdulrazak Namdas is eyeing the officer of the speaker, Lawal advised him to keep the struggle for next time.
According to him, Namdas is another good material for the office of the speaker and is doing well as the image maker of the house, “but, l want him to unite for Femi as sons of the APC who believe in unity in the interest of the party.”
