Four Turkish expatriates abducted in Kwara

Four Turkish experts have been abducted in Kwara state of Nigeria by a six-man armed gang.
They were said to have been abducted at a local drinking joint in Gbale village, Edu LG area of the state.
The incident which has been confirmed by local police occurred at about 10pm Saturday while the men were having fun at the local joint in Gbale village.
The abducted men whose identities were later known as Yasin Colak (33), Senerapal (40), Ergun Yurdakul (35) and Seyit Keklik (25) are said to be expatriates working with Instabul Concrete limited, Gbale.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the story, adding that the state Commissioner of Police Ag. CP Kayode Egbetokun has dispatched teams under operation Puff Adder to the area to commence immediate rescue alive of the expatriates and arrest of the hoodlums.
According to him, the efforts of the police is beginning to yield positive results but did not confirm if any arrest had been made so far.
