FG ofers employment to late Ocholi’s son, siblings get scholarship

The Federal Government has announced automatic employment at the Federal Ministry of Justice for Aaron James Ocholi, the eldest son of late minister of state for Labour, James Ocholi (SAN). James Ocholi (SAN), his wife, and son, died in a motor accident last Sunday along Abuja -Kaduna road. A statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday by Comrade Salihu Othman Isah, the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, said the employment is part of efforts to ensure succour for the children of the late Minister of State for Labour.

This is just as the Federal Executive Council will dedicate today’s meeting as expected to pay special tribute to the late minister as one of its active member. Isah hinted that the AGF revealed this to the Ocholi family when he paid a sympathy visit to his Kado Estate residence at around 3.00pm to convey his and President Buhari’s condolence message.

The AGF also disclosed that Aaron’s other siblings are to enjoy scholarships for their educational pursuits, courtesy of the Federal Government who has pledged to cushion the effect of the loss. He said the late Senior Advocate of Nigeria was a very critical part of the change effort of the Federal Government. Malami disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari personally mandates him to inform the family of the late minister that his administration will do all within its power to ensure he is not missed.

He, however, enjoined them that death is a necessary end that is bound to happen, adding that God in his infinite mercy had a reason for allowing them to go the way they did. “I am here to convey Mr. President’s condolence message and he has asked me to personally inform you that you have been given automatic employment in the Federal Ministry of Justice. The employment letter is in process and you can resume work after now”, he told late Ocholi’s eldest son.
