FG continues negotiation with PENGASSAN today

The Petroleum and Natural Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has said the negotiation with Federal Government will be concluded today.
The National President of PENGASSAN, Comrade Francis Johnson confirmed to the Daily Times on Monday in a telephone chat that the negotiation is still on.
“We are concluding tomorrow (Tuesday) and the strike is still on till we finish our negotiation with the Federal Government.
The meeting which was held at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Towers, Abuja, had in attendance the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu; Minister of Labour, Dr. Chris Ngige; Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang; Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru; and leaders of PENGASSAN and NUPENG.
Recall that PENGASSAN last Thursday declared an industrial action to press home their demands over labour issues and other matters relating to agreements reached with Federal Government which were yet to be fulfilled.
