FCT hospitals management board denies recruitment exercise
The Federal Capital Territory Hospitals Management Board has denied the purported ongoing recruitment of qualified medical personnel as published in some social media platforms, just as the Board has warmed members of the public to be weary of fraudsters.
The Board also warned unsuspected members of the public not to pay any money to organisations or group of people for recruitment purposes, stating that the FCT Administration does not collect money for any recruitment exercise.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Director of Human Resource Management, Hajiya Amina Abubakar, and made available to our correspondent, at the weekend.
Our attention has been drawn to online advertisement of ongoing recruitment exercise to fill various vacant positions in the Board.
We want to use this medium to state that there is no such vacancies in the Board and warned members of the public to weary of unscrupulous elements who are out to defraud unsuspected residents of the Territory.
It is instructive to note that FCT Administration do not collect money from applicants in any recruitment exercise as indicated by these fraudsters.
We, therefore, called on members of the public to disregard this online advertisement,” The statement reads in part,” the Board said.
It could be recalled that advertisement for qualified candidates to apply for vacant positions in FCT Hospitals has been trending in social media platforms.
The positions advertised for are as follows: House Officers, Intern Medical Laboratory Scientists, Intern Pharmacists, Intern Radiographers, Intern Physiotherapists, and. Optometrists.
Also, applicants were requested to pay a parcel fee of N1,500 via Zenith and or Firstbank savings accounts.
