Ex-Kogi perm sec kidnapped

A retired Permanent Secretary in Kog Statem,Mr. Moses Onivehu, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen along Okene -Lokoja highway on Sunday evening. He retired not long ago from the state’s  Ministry of health.

It was gathered that Onivehu was kidnapped between  Osara and Kabba Junction by suspected gunmen who accosted while returning from Okene.

Wife of the victim, who confirmed the incident, when she spoke with journalist  on telephone, on Monday,  said her husband  was kidnapped  on Sunday evening  along Lokoja Okene near.  Kabba junction on his way back to Lokoja after spending  the weekend  with  his family  in Okene.

She explained that the kidnappers have been in touch with victim’s children  but they have not made any specific  request of ransom.
