Enyimba not great yet, says Chukwude

Enyimba striker Stephen Chukwude, who scored a brace on Sunday to help his team thrash Vital’O of Burundi 5-1 in a CAF Champions League first round first leg game in Port Harcourt, has revealed that his team are not yet at their best despite the massive win.

He said the seven-time Nigeria champions can only get better.

“The game was not our best game, the best is still coming for other games ahead of us,” Chukwude said.

“The victory was a collective one because we worked together for it. Every player wants to play.

“I am so excited to score two goals in the game and for the victory.”
