Enoh solicits more support, prayers for Tinubu

Minister of Sport development, Senator John Owan Enoh has called for support for President Tinubu, as he has the intellect and capacity to turn things around in Nigeria.

Speaking at Ikom, Cross River Central Senatorial district during a gathering to thank God for his appointment into the Federal executive cabinet, on Saturday, Enoh, charged Nigerians to not only support Tinubu, but pray for him.

He recalled that he took a chance with President Tinubu, then as a presidential candidate, when he, told him( Enoh) to discontinue his post-governorship primaries litigation.

He added that as he discontinued with the case, he was blessed by the President in return.

Enoh further said and while also thanking God for the president whom he said, actually won the February 25th, 2023 presidential election, he added that he is grateful to God and his principal.

Enoh also appreciated Governor Otu for the leadership he has already offered in Cross River State noting that the governor in his first term has demonstrated leadership and he is doing well and because of that he earned a name “Sweet Prince”.

He promised to support him to the end warning those he described as detractors not to create any rift between him and the governor as he will never come out for governorship contest against governor Bassey Otu in 2027.

Enoh who contested the governorship primaries of the APC ahead of the 2023 elections but lost to Otu, revealed that he has told those who care to listen not to create imaginary rift between him and the incumbent governor.

He noted that Governor Otu is in his first term “has demonstrated leadership and he is doing well for the State”.
