Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu makes cameo in Udinese draw, Obi benched
The Ghana midfielder came off the bench as his team was held at home by Torino on Monday night
It was the Ghana midfielder’s third substitute appearance in his ninth game of the season as the Little Zebras ended their two-match winning run.
After losing their first two games in October to Lazio and Juventus, Udinese won two straight games against Palermo and Pescara but could not sustain the form as they were pegged back by a late goal in front of their fans.
Marco Benassi opened scoring for Torino and the hosts needed to wait until the 60th minutes to get their equaliser courtesy of Cyril Thereau.
Udinese edged ahead on 70 minutes via Diego Zapata and coach Luigi Delneri brought on Agyemang-Badu for Jakub Jankto to shore up the midfield.
However, Adam Ljajić scored for the visitors moments later to give them a precious point on the road.
Nigerian midifielder Joel Obi was an unused substitute for Torino.
