Eguma happy with Rivers United pre-season form

The Pride of Rivers’ coach has thumbed up his players’ impressive form but warned there are still much to be done
The Pride of Rivers remain unbeaten after they defeated Adala Football Academy 3-0 on Sunday in their fourth consecutive friendly game played at the Fifa Goal project Pitch in Abuja.
Eguma disclosed that it would be too early to jump into conclusion that Rivers United are set for the new league season based on their pre season form while asserting that his boys would only be judged after they start facing premier league sides in the next few days.
“We are not yet there but we are gradually taking shape ahead of the new season.
“The boys are doing well but we are still trying to get our bearings and also the players are still striving to get used to my strategies. We will know our true colour after we have started playing topflight sides.”
Rivers United placed second in the league last season with 60 points from 36 matches and are playing in the CAF Champions League next year along with league reigning champions, Enugu Rangers.
