Ebonyi IPOB Attack: Nwifuru’s security aide vows to fish out perpetrators

The special Assistant to Ebonyi state Governor on internal security, Ohaukwu, Hon Tobias Ogbonna Oge yesterday, vowed to fish out hoodlums attacked the residents of Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi state by the procribed indigenous peoples of Biafra, IPOB.

Oge stated this in a press release, condemned Unwarranted attack louched at Ezzangbo Junction in Ohaukwu Local by unknown gunmen in the early hours of October 2nd, 2023.

According to him, the senseless act of violence against the Ohaukwu people is both tragic and unacceptable.

He however sympathized with those whose means of earning a living were destroyed and set ablaze by the alleged IPOB members.

He expressed the effort and synergy with stakeholders and different security agencies to maintain a peaceful environment in the area.

“W will continue to ensure the safety and security of our people, and we will work tirelessly to bring the perpetrators of this evil act.

“I urge the residents of Ohaukwu LGA and the neighbouring communities to remain vigilant, cooperate with security agencies, and provide any information that may assist in the apprehension of those responsible for this reprehensible .

“Security measures have been beefed up to bring perpetrators to book and forestall the recurrence of such ugly incidents,” he said.
