Duif Media Celebrates International Women’s Day at New Era Senior Secondary School

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, Duif Media hosted a Corporate Social Responsibility event at New Era Senior Secondary School.

The aim was to inspire and educate female students, encouraging them to embrace ambition and success. The event focused on instilling a sense of productivity and highlighting the importance of differentiating between one’s role as a woman and as a wife.

Also, it was conveyed that marital responsibilities should not hinder a woman from pursuing a career or a proficient business woman.

The occasion celebrated the accomplishments of inspiring women, both present and those whose legacy defies societal norms, pushing boundaries despite challenges facing women in the world.

Furthermore, The students were encouraged to recognize the importance of acquiring a vocational skill, emphasizing the ability of a person to create opportunities for themselves where there isn’t one. They were reminded that education extends beyond formal schooling and that success is ascertained for those who develop diverse skills.

In an interactive session with New Era students, Duif Media laid emphasis on the significance of women’s health and hygiene. To champion this cause, over three hundred (300) students received sanitary towels, promoting a health-conscious and well-informed approach to self-care. This initiative reflects Duif Media’s dedication to community involvement and the promotion of positive change.

Additionally, it is important to express gratitude towards the entire staff at New Era Secondary School. Their steadfast dedication to the social well-being, education and empowerment of the students is worthy of commendation. They worked collectively to contribute significantly to creating a conducive learning environment and a space for personal development for the students.
