Doctor, nurse arrested for patient’s death, abortion

Police in Ogun state have arrested a medical doctor and a nurse for their alleged involvement in the murder of 35 years old Aminat Atisola whom they helped to perform abortion.

The doctor identified as Olawale Raji and the nurse, Olusegun Funmilayo were arrested on July 26th following a complaint from the sister of the deceased to the Ogun State Police Command.

It was gathered that the complainant whose name was given as Bose Kazeem of no 6, ireakari Street at Atan Ota claimed her sister was two months pregnant and had contracted the services of the two suspects who are working in a private hospital for the abortion of the pregnancy.
