Desmond Elliot Denies Bribing Voters to Gain Support

Aspirant for the Lagos state House of Assembly under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress,(APC) Desmond Olusola Elliot, was reportedly distributing money in Lagos state to gain the support of voters.

According to a photo which has since gone viral, the Nollywood actor and producer who was surrounded by police men was seen holding a bundle of money. It is yet to be ascertained if the money was distributed to the voters or not.

However, the movie star turned politician has debunked such reports saying he did not bribe anyone.

“Please remain focused and prayerful, I didn’t bribe my way to where God has placed me, is it now that I will start.. and what am I bribing them for again?” he said on social media.
