During an interview, Tom Hanks broke his silence and went in on Donald Trump presidential campaign in the most decent, diplomatic and acrimonious possible way. The actor was very clear with his perspective on the politics that Trump makes and his voting preferences for the upcoming polls.

The revealing interview took place while on the road promoting his new movie, Inferno, just some day ago. Hanks did know what he was talking about when he pronounced himself very clearly against the politics played by Trump.

During the conversation with the reporter, Hank when he was asked about the present situation ongoing in the country regarding the presidential election, he replied rhetorically “Oh yeah, let’s talk about that self-involved gas bag, do you want to talk about him?”

Hanks was well up for talking about the topical issue of Trump trying to climb into the President’s seat.
“Look, if I have an abscess tooth and need to see an oral surgeon, I’m not going to go to the guy who says, ‘you know what, I think I can be a pretty good oral surgeon’. I’m going to go to someone who has been doing it for 30 years and has handled it a million times and knows all the small little… I’m voting for Hillary Clinton because I think she is wildly, wildly qualified to be the president of the USA”, continued.

Isn’t it sort of ironic that just Tom Hanks probably has more experience in the White House than Donald Trump with all the movies and roles he has played?.

After confronting the actor with a possible scenario where Trump wins the presidency of America on November 8, he replied: “Well then it’s a dark day for the planet earth.”

We’ll let America decide that one. If they make this whole situation into a movie – which, let’s face it, is going to happen eventually regardless of the outcome – can we suggest that Hanks narrates it. I’m already hooked.
