Delta govt to demolish structures obstructing waterways
Determined to clean up the state and avert erosion problems, the Delta State government, on Wednesday, said it would pull down any structure obstructing waterways across the state.
The state commissioner for lands, survey and urban Development, Chief Dan Okenyi, disclosed this to newsmen in Asaba.
Chief Okenyi maintained that the state government, through the ministry had set up a committee with a mandate to regularise the land titles illegally occupied in Okpanam core II A, located opposite the Asaba Airport.
