Davis double downs Tottenham
Steven Davis struck twice as Southampton earned a 2-1 win at Tottenham, opening the door for Arsenal in the battle for second. Son Heung-min put Spurs in front at White Hart Lane after 16 minutes, capitalising on sluggish Southampton defending to round Fraser Forster and slot home. Davis equalised for Southampton on 31 minutes and the Saints midfielder put his side ahead in the second half with a low finish past Hugo Lloris .The victory moves Southampton above West Ham into sixth, albeit having played a game more.
