Daily Times lady, Mutiat Alli, wins big at Media Niteout

Daily Times of Nigeria’s entertainment writer, Mutiat Alli, on Sunday, September 17, 2017, night emerged 2017 Entertainment Writer of the Year.
Organised by Media Niteout, Alli defeated other contestants including Lanre Odukoya of The New Telegraph, Hazeez Balogun of Daily Independent who is also the editor of Saturday Independent. Others are Mercy Micheal of Authority Newspapers, African Tribune’s Seyi Sokoya and Ovwe Medeme of The Nation.
The awards ceremony, which attracted the who is who in the entertainment circuit as well as Lagos socialites, was held at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State.
While receiving the award, an excited Alli noted that hard work pays and appreciated the entire members of the Daily Times of Nigeria family with a special recognition of the publisher, Mr. Fidelis Anosike, for the platform given to her to excel.
It will be recalled that in February 2017, Miss Alli equally won the award for the Entertainment Writer of the Year at the Nigeria’s Writer’s Awards and Morklue All Youths Awards.
The Nigerian Media Niteout Awards is the only award dedicated to the evolution of media, celebrating the best in media thinking communications and positive contributors to nationhood across the world.
