Coronavirus: No reason to impose travel ban, Nigeria follows WHO rules-Minister

Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehinare has said that the Nigerian government is not considering imposing travel ban on travellers from other countries over the spread of Coronavirus.

Ehinare said this while assuring foreign diplomats of the measures put in place by Nigeria government to contain the spread of the virus.

According to the Nation, he said, there was no immediate reason to impose travel ban for now.
He said the country is guided by World Health Organisation guideline, adding that the country has not reached the point of banning large gathering.
