Church to pray for Nigeria unity, economy at annual convention

The Apostolic Faith Church headquarters for West and Central Africa (WECA) is set to offer ceaseless prayer for the peace, unity, economic, social and political development of Nigeria during its 2017 annual convention.
The church’s district superintendent, Rev. Adebayo Adeniran, who said this, added that the convention would hold from August 6 to August 27 at its Faith City camp ground, Atan Agbara, Ibese, Ota, Ogun state.
Adeniran admonished members of the public to attend the convention because it is an event filled with spiritually satisfying experience which will also transform lives positively.
He said that the convention that has been tagged, “Behold He cometh. be ready’’! Is a clarion call to’re-awake people’s consciousness to the immense coming of Christ among the faithful and the entire nation.
According to him, the convention would feature series of programmes and these include: bible studies, sacred and inspirational songs, film shows, seminars, youths and children services.
He also said , the convention will hold a great attraction in context of music concerts by Apostolic Faith Choir and their Africa’s largest single orchestra on August 12 and 19.
“The annual convention will be a opportunity for many souls who genuinely seeks the face of God in holy worship and to turn in total repentance and this can only be achieved by seeking His face in prayers and supplications especially in the country where widespread poverty, immoral behavior kidnapping for ransom are now indicative of a nation in sore distress and in dire need of divine intervention.
“Though not peculiar to our country alone , yet the prevailing circumstances in our global sphere pointed clearly in the directional trends of events that characterises the end of time”. Adeniran said.
Rev.Adeniran also said that aside the blessings attached to the year’s convention, it will also serve as preparatory ground for all who desire to hear the trump of the arch Angels summoning them to be ruptured at the end.
