Chidozie Oliver Maduka to Debut “Unframed” – A Virtual Solo Exhibition at Rele Gallery London

“Unframed,” a virtual solo exhibition by Nigerian contemporary artist Chidozie Oliver Maduka, taking place from July 12 to July 19, 2024.

In “Unframed,” Maduka presents a compelling new body of work that challenges the constraints of form, perception, and self. the exhibition explores themes of freedom, identity, and transformation asking what happens when we no longer conform to the structures that attempt to define us.

With ethereal visuals and layered symbolism, Maduka invites viewers into a world where the spiritual and the personal collide. His work blurs the lines between image and emotion, physicality and presence offering a profound meditation on the power of liberation through art.

“‘Unframed’ is about dismantling boxes the ones imposed on us and the ones we create ourselves,” Maduka explains. “It’s an ode to becoming.”
