Barring last minute change, President Muhammadu Buhari and other members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will attend the next meeting slated for Tuesday.
This assurance was given by the acting National Secretary of the party, Victor Giadom while speaking with journalists at the end of a meeting of the National Working Committee held at APC national secretariat, Abuja, Thursday evening.

He said the just concluded NWC meeting discussed modalities for the meeting as preparations were in top gear to host the meeting successfully.
Giadom said that “as NWC, we just concluded our meeting and this is just to inform the public that the NEC meeting scheduled for the March 17 will still hold and every preparation towards that meeting is in top gear.
“I want to use this opportunity to invite all NEC members to attend the meeting. I can tell you that every member of NEC is prepared to attend this meeting.”
Reacting to a reported ruling of a Lagos court mandating the NWC to accommodate three persons into the NEC meeting, Giadom denied knowledge of such a ruling.
He however, said that if the NWC gets a copy of judgement, it will determine what to do.
“Not to my knowledge. We will like to see the court order and if that happens we refer back to our constitution. We will take it up from that point,” he said.
Meanwhile, there was a new development at the APC national secretariat on Thursday as the billboard and banner containing pictures of the embattled National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole conspicuously displayed was removed by the party.
In its stead, new billboards depicting President Buhari as the leader of the party sprang up to announce the Tuesday emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
Recall that before this new development, Oshiomhole’s picture was played side by side with that of President Buhari on billboards at the APC national secretariat.
