Bremen will fight to avoid relegation—Ujah
Relegation-threatened Werder Bremen will fight to stay up in the German Bundesliga according to their Nigeria striker Anthony Ujah.
Bremen are just a point away from safety with 27 points from 28 matches.
Augsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt are also on 27 points each, while Hannover are bottom with 17 points.
Ujah has now said he hopes character will save his struggling club from the dreaded relegation.
“We have to stay strong and with the help of our fans, we will survive,” said the former Mainz and Cologne striker.
“It has been frustrating and we now need the fans till the last day of the season.”
This season, the 25-year-old Ujah has scored nine goals in 27 appearances for Bremen in the Bundesliga.
