BREAKING NEWS: INEC shifts Edo guber election
Saturday’s scheduled gubernatorial election in Edo State has been postponed. The postponement is for two weeks.
The decision to stop the election was reached at a security meeting held in Benin-city, the Edo State capital, on Thursday.
A national commissioner at the commission said the Chairman of the commission, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, and other national officials of the commission are planning to address a press conference shortly.
