Body of Senior Advocates holds dinner

. Osinbajo, Kolade to speak at event

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) and Nigeria’s former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Christopher Kolade are expected at the maiden edition of the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) dinner which holds tomorrow, November 11, 2017 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victorial Island, Lagos. Cocktails start at 6pm.

The event which promises to hold annually will be the first time BOSAN, the umbrella body of SANs would be coming together to wine and dine.

At a press conference in Ikoyi, Lagos last Tuesday by the organising committee represented by its executives, Chief Felix Fagbongbe SAN, (Treasurer), Mr. Seyi Sowemimo SAN, (Secretary) and deputy chairman, Mr. Paul Usoro SAN, representing the chairman, Damian Dodo (SAN), the group said the event is also planned to welcome the recently elevated SANs into the association.

The occasion will also be used to make known its various committees on social engineering including the continuing legal education committee and the scholarships committee for the public to appraise their activities.

The Daily Times gathered that all SANs numbering about 400 from across the country are expected to grace the occasion with their spouses while the distinguished guests of honour will be the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, himself a member of the Inner Bar, and the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, (GCON).

The organising committee further revealed that the ‘dinner lecture will be delivered by Dr. Christopher Kolade, CON, former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom who will be speaking on the theme, ‘Leadership’.
