Belgore, Abubakar, Pategi, Oniyangi jostle for Kwara guber ticket

Mr Dele Belgore, s Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and a former Minister of National Planning, Prof Sulaiman Abubakar; a member of the House of Representatives, Mr Aliyu Ahman-Pategi; and another aspirant, Alhaji Abdulazeez Oniyangi, have declared their intention to run for the Kwara State Governor’s seat.

While Belgore is vying on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abubakar and Ahman-Pategi are aspiring under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Oniyangi is aspiring under the National Progressives Movement.

Belgore, said it was time Kwara State reclaimed its rightful place as a first generation state.

Abubakar, while declaring his intention in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, stated that Kwara State could be better.
