Baanty Named NXT Creative of the Month
TurnTable NXT has announced Kelvin Ikpon, known professionally as Baanty, as the Creative of the Month for March 2022.
Baanty, a talented artiste and music industry leader, has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the Nigerian music scene.
As the founder of the Baanty Music Movement, Baanty has demonstrated a deep commitment to supporting emerging artistes and fostering growth within the industry.
On why he created the the Baanty Music Movement, he said:” Lagos is the powerhouse of music and entertainment capital of Nigeria.
The tools and platforms are in Lagos, not in Delta. Artistes from Delta State find it hard to succeed without mentorship and knowledge of the Lagos market. Even with all the hype and media exposure, they still find it difficult to navigate the industry. Baanty Music Movement was created to solve this challenge.”
Since its inception in January, the Baanty Music Movement has made significant strides in promoting and nurturing talent from Delta State.
Baanty credits the success of the movement to the collaborative efforts of his music community and social media team, leveraging platforms like Twitter to amplify their message and reach a wider audience.
