Aquatic Federation holds Water Polo clinic

Water Polo coaches and other technical officials from across the country are to converge in Lagos from April 12 – 14, 2017 for a three –day water polo officiating clinic holding at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere Lagos.

Technical Director of the Lagos State Swimming Association, Coach Emmanuel Emena popularly known as Coach Goodie who disclosed this in Lagos said the clinic is open to all water polo technical officials from across the country, even as he revealed that some states like Delta, Edo, Rivers, Ondo and Lagos the host state among others have since indicated their willingness to participate.

Coach Goodie also revealed that the clinic would be facilitated by Mr. Guy Pinker, water polo technical committee member of CANA and the world swimming regulating body, Fedeartion Internationale De Nationale(FINA) from South Africa.

Meanwhile, president of the Nigeria Aquatic Federation, Babatunde Fatai Williams who just returned from Egypt where he attended the FINA sanctioned African Junior Swimming Championship has pleaded with states to ensure that their water polo coaches attend the programme in order to enhance their knowledge as regards the sport
