Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere And The Narrative of Scarlet to White

“Come let us reason together says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool” Isaiah 1:18

When the above quote is made people are so happy to read it out but unfortunately today, the call is not for people to come and reason together. It is more of a call for people to just embrace repentance as if repentance is magic. I know many people may not understand the point I am trying to make but the quotation above is very explicit when calling on souls that have become so deep in sin. Deep to the extent that in human eyes, repentance looks like the impossible. But this is not the case for Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere who God is using to do what looks most likely the impossible in the Niger Delta region and the country at large.

It is a known fact that prior to the advent of the Boko Haram insurgency in the north east, the Niger Delta was a major boiling point in the country owing to the agitation by armed groups for better living conditions for the people of the region. The granting of amnesty to a great deal reduced the level of government and oil installations targeted violence but it never reduced criminal activities in the region especially in Rivers state where local warlords turned areas like. Ahoada, Ogoni, Etche, Omuma Omoku, Ikwerre into no go areas. In fact these boys reined terror to the extent that the police could not even handle or contain the prevalence of criminal activities in these areas.

But today a lot of wonder is taking place in these areas not with the regular renunciation of crime by lots of these boys who were destined for condemnation. One of these former militants by name Gift Uba from Omoku who was a major killer, kidnapper, armed robber was not even deterred by a gunshot wound that pierced through his chest but today has renounced his former way of life due to the evangelical ministration of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere a man who God is using to change scarlet to wools in the state and beyond.

The essence of Christianity is for salvation and if a preacher fails to save lost souls no matter how deep they are in sin, and make them candidates for paradise then the essence of his being called amounts to nothing. This is why the Omega Power Ministries OPM deserves to be commended for what he and the church is doing which is making VERY LOST souls candidates for God’s service.

The beauty of all what Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere is doing is not just that he is saving souls but that he is sustaining them and making them useful to the society. As t today, any of these boys that repents and give their lives to Christ aside the pastoral training they are given, are also given opportunities to learn skills that will better their lives economically. When Jesus fed thousands He was not doing it because he wanted to do that but because He wanted to show us that aside preaching, a man of God should also be able to show sympathy to those he evangelises to. As I write this article the church through it foundation and the rehabilitation centre which is in a class of its own, is running lots of skill acquisition schemes and most of the graduates of these scheme find themselves in lucrative jobs while also deeply in the service of God! There is also an agriculture scheme which the man of GOD initiated for these former militants aimed at helping in food production. In this scheme, they are given plots of lands to cultivate with training from a competent Agric specialist.

Each time I am privileged to listen to many of these people who have given their lives to Christ because of the humane and philanthropic based evangelism of Apostle Chinyere, I glorify God Almighty and also pray that GOD gives other of His servants this kind of Golden Heart because it is important. I believe also that members of the security apparatus will also be happy because with the intensity with which these young men are embracing Christ their work load will definitely be reduced and the people of the state will sleep without fear of terror.

Running these schemes is expensive and considering the impact of turning these bad eggs to preachers of the word and its attendant peace in the society, I am urging Nigerians even companies operating in these areas to key into the good efforts of the Omega Power Ministries OPM. Most of these graduates need to be absorbed into companies as workers. The man of GOD has regularly buttressed the point that it is through tithes and offerings that these schemes are funded. God bless you all as you do and mind you, the man of God and the church does not consider tribe, religion or church when he does what he does so let’s also not be deterred by sentiments of church, tribe or religion because the salvation of mankind and the tranquility of our society is and should be the paramount motivation.
