APGA N’Central distances self from leadership crisis

The North Central National Vice-Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Engr. Sule Ajayi, has dissociated the region from an unsolicited text message opposing the new leadership of the party.

In a statement made available to the newsmen at the weekend, in Ilorin, Ajayi said that those behind the text message were faceless people bent on creating confusion and animosity within the party structure.

“From the recent happenings within APGA, I have decided to speak out perhaps to calm the nerves of the aggrieved members.

“The party has witnessed too many court litigations in the recent past under the immediate past National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh.

“This obviously affected the party’s progress and through the grace of God, the party has survived disintegration and now seeking reconciliation with the aggrieved members,” Ajayi said.

He explained that after the recorded successes under such atmosphere by the past National Chairman, the party could not afford further court litigations and factions.
