APC Is Nigeria’s Best Choice- 2015
Few weeks to the conduct of the presidential elections, the Presidential candidate of the leading opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has said the APC remains the best choice for Nigerians in the elections.
Speaking on Thursday during a South South rally of the APC in Port Harcourt, Buhari tasked Nigerians to build their country, adding that security should be taken seriously.
The former military head of state also implored Nigerians to look at the fortunes of the economy and promised to provide infrastructure if elected into office.
“Look at how the naira is tumbling down. Those of you that are business people; you need trailers of naira to go and change to buy machinery and establish your factories, buy essential raw materials and get competent management.
“You just can’t afford it, which means the unemployment rate will increase if you let PDP survive either at the state level or at the centre”, he said.
He further maintained that “the sad but important point is the question of corruption” adding that “if we don’t kill corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria. What we are going to save from corruption, I assure you we will bring back into building infrastructure”.
