APC Governors sympathise with victims of Abule Ado Explosion

Abuja – The All Progressives Congress Governors’ Forum has sympathised with the Lagos State Government and victims of the explosion at Abule Ado, Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

The forum, in a statement signed by its Chairman,  Gov. Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi,  in Abuja on Monday,  expressed shock over the explosion that caused many deaths and damaged houses.

“We commiserate with the government and people of Lagos state for the sad incidence of the explosion that caused many deaths and devastating damages to many houses in Abule Ado area.

“At times like this, we send our condolence to our colleague,  Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and all the people of Lagos State for the unfortunate incident.

“We pray that God Almighty gives you and the families of those who lost their lives the fortitude to bear the loss.

“We, in particular, sympathise with residents of Abule Ado who lost their homes, properties, livelihood and have been displaced by the ruin,” he said.

The forum chairman expressed optimism that with the good leadership of Lagos State Government, the situation would be managed in the best ways possible. (NAN)
