AMLSN inaugurates 12th chairman

The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientist of Nigeria (AMLSN) Lagos State branch has inaugurated Monsuru Adegoke as her 12th chairman of the Association that would pilot its affairs for a three year tenure in the state.
Speaking at the occasion at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, Lagos, the chairman, Comrade Adegoke said that his leadership tenure is set to build on the achievement of his predecessor, as the welfare of members would be an organizational responsibility.”As part of the welfare packages of the association, members have started getting
“As part of the welfare packages of the association, members have started getting allocation of their land and documentation in less than 100 days in office, we have also started another estate where members can buy 2-bedroom bungalow at the rate of 4.5 million and 3 bedroom at the rate of 6.5 million respectively”.
Adegoke disclosed that a laboratory mentoring committee has been constituted to help raise the standard of other laboratories in the state, both private and public, adding that LUTH is working towards that direction.
He noted that the Association has started the actualization its constitutional provision on welfare for members who are in critical health condition.”We have established an NYSC temporary laboratory to see to the care of youth corps member during orientation camp”.
Adegoke on his final note, appreciated members, urging them to cooperate more with the new executives and to continue in the team spirit that exited during and after the Association’s election.
