Alhaji Sani Yusuf chairs Zamfara IPAC

Zamfara state chapter of the Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) has elected the chairman of Green Party of Nigeria (GPN), Alhaji Sani Yusuf to head the committee.

In his acceptance speech, the new IPAC chairman, Sani Yusuf promised to work hand in hand with all political parties in the state.

According to him, IPAC was committed to in supporting and other stakeholders in promoting democratic process in the country.

He urged the chairmen of the political parties in the state to join hand with the IPAC leadership to entrench democratic culture amongst the people.

Yusuf however, pledged to extend all necessary support and cooperation to the INEC for the conduct of free and fair general election.

In his speech, IPAC chairman electoral committee, Chief Sam Eke said the new leadership have one year mandate to pilot the affairs of committee in the state.

He urged the new leadership to firm in handling the affairs of the committee, especially with the general election coming up next year.

Others elected were Deputy Chairman, Engr. AB Muazu; Secretary, Alhaji Musa Mai-mai of the AD; Babangida Anka of the APC, Treasurer, and Hajia Hadiza Unman of the Zenith Labour Party, as Organising Secretary.
