ALGON hails AbdulRazaq on payment of political office holders

The Kwara state chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has appreciated Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq for restoring the payment of elected vice chairmen, councillors, council secretary and supervisors of the 16 local government councils in the state.

The association stated this in a statement signed by Joshua Omokanye and Abubakar Abdullahi Bata, chairman and secretary respectively.

The association expressed happiness over the governor’s show of magnanimity in all respect on the matters.

“We are indeed happy over the governor’s kindness and expression of concern over the plights of our vice chairmen, councillors, council secretary and supervisors which culminated in the restoration of the payment of their salaries,” the statement read.

The body also assured the governor of constant and consistent support in all ramifications in his policies and programmes.
