Aladja accuse army of teaming up with Isaba against it

Aladja Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State has accused Army personnel on “Stop” and ” Search” duty at Mofor Junction of allegedly colluding with the people of Isaba against their community.
Comrade Ighotegwolor Bezi, Assistant Secretary of Aladja Community Council, made the allegations in a chat.
He claimed that the Army personnel led by an Intelligence Officer(name withheld) allegedly delivered a tipper lorry to Isaba using three of its men.

Bezi also claimed that the Army Post At Aladja headed by one Capt. Nwankwoda was not in the know of the suspicious movement when the tipper was stopped by the Aladja people.

“They told the Aladja people they were going to the Army Post by Harvard School, Aladja but tricked the Army on entry that they were on inter-movement to Isaba.

“When Capt Nwakwoda got to know about the trick on his men, he ordered the arrest/detention of the tipper and army personnel when they come back. But they didn’t pass through Aladja on their way back.”

Bezi claimed that the army personnel were ferried back through the Oleri Waterfront on a speed boat.
He appealed to the Army authorities to dismiss and prosecute the Intelligence Officer at Mofor junction for dragging the name and good image of the army the mud.

In his reaction, the Commander of the Nigerian Army 3 Battalion in Effurun, Major Abdukadri dismissed the claims by the Aladja people saying, “there’s nothing like that in my area. I don’t know where you got that story from.”
